week of may 13th (riah's 16th birthday!!!)

MONDAY skyped momma for mothers day back home in canada!

baked some muffins, and went to mark and brittany's for fresh fish for dinner that mark had caught that day! 

TUESDAY i had boxing in the morning went back out to te puna and called riah for her 16th burthdaaaayy!! she's so old...aaaand she got her G1 on her birthday! yeah gurl! 

took my car into jono again and he fixed the leak, for freeee, churrr. buuut celine is still eating oil..which sucks but hey. she still runs! i also officially changed my flights! so i'll be staying in NZ until december 8th. woot woot! 

laura came over to my house sitting house and we made good use of the movie room and spa! awesome  times :)

WEDNESDAY i worked at the cafe and then had youth at BBC in the eve.

THURSDAY worked at gelato then went to the revolution tour which was what carmen and logan were traveling with for two weeks going all over the north island. logan was part of the skate team and carmz took photo's for the skate team. the tour was promoting anti bullying in the schools and areas through music, dance, and speakers. it was really well done and a great show.

FRIDAY i worked at gelato then headed back out to te puna for a chill night..check out lily the cat, she likes to climb into the bathtub for some reason..

SATURDAY i packed up everything and made sure everything was in order and i left "my pad" that i had been house sitting for the past week. it was really nice to have "my own place" for a bit.
i discovered this super awesome cafe on my way back and decided to stop, i text laura h to see if she was free to meet up and we had a yum brunch.

then we went to go watch blakes soccer game (her broseph) and he got a hat trick! they invited me back to their house for lunch and i happily obliged. we went on a shopping excursion after lunch to find billy some pants and shoes (her younger broseph) and check out what we found!

this photo doesn't even near do it justice but it was the most crisp, bright, triple rainbow i've ever seen!

the hannah's invited me to stay for dinner too :) after dinner i went to the hills to see sickie jono who pleaded for me to bring him some ice cream haha. had a relaxing spa with christine and we all watched coach carter after. 

SUNDAY BBC in the morning, had a youth leaders meeting/lunch after and went to city in the evening. we all got KFC after and then headed to mark and brittany's to hang.  

week of may 6th

MONDAY i got to ride horses on a beach today!!! aneka has two horses and she invited me over to ride them! the weather was less than ideal but we made it happen and it was awesome. we got soaked because the tide was higher than expected, the horses got spooked a few times, and i held on for dear life and squealed like a little girl when i cantered a few times, what an great experience! i had a little photo shoot with peppy.

TUESDAY boxing in the morning. afternoon took my car into jono (as he is a mechanic) to see if he could figure out where the oil leak is coming from. went to check out McLaren's Falls as it was a beautiful day.

went to laura h's house and played table tennis and then went for an adventurous walk, we got somewhat lost, wanted to risk running across peoples lawns but there were gates and things.

WEDNESDAY worked at gelato and had youthgroup with BBC at night.

THURSDAY worked at gelato and in the eve went for a night adventure walk with jono around the mount, a somewhat treacherous excursion as there was no moon and my night vision isn't the cream of the crop..haha, finished the night with some yum BK 

FRIDAY worked at gelato and then went to youth at city and after went to the girls flat where we played riveting rounds of mafia. and then i headed out to te puna to have my first night of house sitting. they have a pretty sweet set up out there, a designated movie room with a projector screen and a spa. yusssss. 

SATURDAY played a big game of Sasquatch hunt with the BBC youth at night outside in a paddock. which is essentially hide and seek but the sasquatch are trying to get you and your team is trying to find the sasquatch. the hunt was followed by a big bonfire. 

SUNDAY was mothers day here and jono asked me to help him make lunch for his mom. so we ended up making a lovely meal of chunky vege soup, and fresh bread. somewhere in there a citric acid challenge came about and needless to say, all the skin on the inside of my mouth began to peel for several days.. christine wanted to go to the papamoa hills to have a nice walk. so campbell, christine, jayden, jono, and i all pilled into a car and headed to the hills. it was lovely! and the view stunning. a dirt fight broke out at some point which just made it all the more fun :) on the way home we stopped to see campbells mom and had a little visit there.
